Prophet Jonathan Gathers was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. He has been through many trials and suffered many hard times. In his younger years, while deeply immersed in alcoholism and drug addiction, he was shot with a gun and once even had his belly ripped open by a knife wielding opponent. But then he had an encounter with God that has changed his life forever.

Soon after Jonathan connected with Bishop Clarence Morrison, who mentored, anointed and released him into the powerful ministry he has today. Now, 20 years later, Prophet Jonathan Gathers is a mighty Man of God with a powerful healing and deliverance ministry.

He moves strongly in the Prophetic and in the Word of Knowledge. Affiliated with the Apostolic Faith Church in Philadelphia, which has its roots directly from Azusa Street in 1906, his meetings are marked by many manifestations of the Holy Spirit, including demonstrations of power, healing and deliverance.
